Offering Time Suggestion

Can we have the kids sing a song - every week during the offering time? Sunday school teachers can train them for the following week's song.

Testimony

This Sunday I sought God, that my gifts be useful for the church. I prayed and was reading the bible. God prompted me to read the beatitudes and also speak from Matt 11:28. I thank God for the blessing.

Ministry(to me) is when I partner with the Holy Spirit in using my gifts to glorifying God. 

I would like to quote Joymon - 'In those days, Enoch walked with God. After a while Enoch was not seen, only God was left. But these days a lot of people start walking with God. After a while we don't see God.' 

 

The effectiveness of my ministry is evident - when I'm not seen and He is displayed.

Lord!! make us effective minsters of Your gospel. Amen.

Sunday Service

Just wanted to express thanks to God for this week's service. New format was a welcome change. I personally felt good ending the service with an uplifting song. Worship team did a great job - thank you Dexter, Adu, Tiqwah and Mintu.And Church!!! I'm sure there is a smile on Jesus' face. 

At this time - I would like to express one of my several requests: I personally think we should have a time of praying for people at the end of every service. It needn't be the entire church, but atleast a few of us should stay back to pray for those that need healing, restoration and issues. 

And every week - an announcement should be made - welcoming people to seek prayer. By doing this, not only do we show our love and care to the people, we also seek God's intervention into situations immediately (than forgetting to do so in the midst of the weekly buzz).
